Doctor is friendly yet professional and quick to check out any possible issues without putting a patient in a panicked state. She took wonderful care of me right through my pregnancy- no question was too silly, no concern unaddressed.

To those who have complained about wait times or her taking calls- I actually appreciate the fact that she never rushed through consults! Her taking calls at any time is also a boon to patients who need a quick response.

She kept me calm through my C section (due to risk to the fetus) and checked in on me after as well. I highly recommend going to her!

A very helpful, friendly and kind doctor. She is very different from the regular doctors who are only concerned about their image or about appeasing the pharma companies. She is genuinely concerned about the patient, and more like a friend than a doctor.

1. I got an appointment online and paid 1000 rupees for 15 mins. I thought the appointment was for 30 mins nevertheless I had so many questions but she started rushing me at 13 mins past repeatedly saying your time will be up in 2 mins. This 13 mins included her telling us that her son lived in the US also and attending to her house maid. **** ****** ** ******* **** **** **** * *** *** ** * ******* *** * ** *** **********

2. Especial people who are ‘maybe pregnant’ for the first time have novice questions and many of them. If u as a doctor will not guide them properly in the beginning itself, how will they feel comfortable and how will they trust you with our bodies in the future. Think!! So be nice and warm and patient!

3. When contacted again on whatsapp to clarify some stuff she mentioned in the prescription (which was sent much later to me), I received half hearted answer and then I was ignored.

4. The following day we msgd her again asking the same thing and didn’t receive a response all day and finally I followed up again and past 7 pm she replied back saying call me. When I called her and asked her the same question, she was rude and said I’m in a meeting!! But I had more questions ???? And you just asked us to call you 30 seconds ago. ??? What Am I missing here???

5. My humble request to doctors who we applaud for saving lives and giving birth to new ones is, that’s do it for the money, *** ***** ****** ****** * ***** ***** **** *** **** Hope my review helps another would be mother who doesn’t need this negativity at a time like this.

Doctor is friendly and understanding. Does not advice unnecessary tests. She certainly calmed me down when I went with a health issue and gave information to make me understand all my questions.

The medical field is often a slippery slope to tackle with some doctors who are trigger happy and quick to recommend surgery. Dr. Vidya Desai is a beacon of comforting light amidst the chaos. I went to the doctor for acute pelvic pain. I gave her a recent CT scan, which had reported a 5 cm Hemmorhagic cyst and a more recent ultra sound report that reported that the Cyst has ruptured and gone away. However, my chronic pelvic pain continued to linger. Since I had been suffering from pelvic pain for 9 months, the doctor was extremely patient, open minded and non judgemental in listening to all my symptoms as she took detailed notes. Many women in India would agree that to find a non judgemental, open minded gynaecologist in India who doesn’t shudder at the words “Pre-marital sex” is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Doctor Vidya is modern and in with the times. She carefully examined me and concluded that my pelvic pain may not even be a gynac issue. On the other hand, other gynacs upon hearing my symptoms were quick to suggest laproscopy. I liked Doctor Vidya’s approach as she said that surgeries are the last resort. Her optimism was very calming. Doctor Vidya also recommended that I Whatsapp her the reports and don’t see her unless highly necessary thereby saving me the time, effort and money of an in person appointment. I would highly recommend Doctor Vidya ** *** ** *** **** ****** *** *** ************

She has no courtesy and time to talk to patients. After waiting for 30-40 mins, when you meet her she is always on her phone and asked us to hurry up with our queries. She was not able to create any doctor-patient relationship, it seems that money is her major interest.

I will recommend not to visit her. They will be definitely better doctors that her.

To start a very positive outlook. She helped us have delivered twin babies. She is very patient and respond to all queries even if asked multiple times. She does not prescribe unnecessary medication and test. She was always approachable and she use to solve our queries over call / WhatsApp. She has been too motivating and help us by guiding us. Thank you Vidya Mam for such a smooth and wonderful journey.

Wonderful experience so far. I'm in my 5th month now and it's been smooth. She's available via phone for any queries or issues and responds pretty promptly.
